07 Jan Ronpak honored to be Burger King’s “Supplier of the Year – 2019”
Burger King Corporation honored Shreveport paper products manufacturer Ronpak, with its’ prestigious Burger King “Food & Packaging Supplier of the Year” Award for 2019.
Ronpak was among only a handful of distinguished honorees present at Burger King’s National Convention held in Miami, Florida on October 17.
Ronpak President Kevin Wascom and his executive team – led by Account Manager Debbie Williams – accepted the award on behalf of Ronpak.
Ronpak received recognition for their superior responsiveness and for excellent management of the manufacturing process across multiple stages of production, namely:
- Marketing
- R & D Support
- Performance
- Cost Savings
- Coverage for Other Suppliers
Ronpak provided Burger King with the competitive advantage by providing extensive support in the research and development area and meeting or exceeding requests for new, more efficient, and/or more marketable products.
Ronpak was selected based on their impressive track record, coupled with their unwavering commitment to teamwork, dedication and responsiveness.
Debbie Williams, Ronpak Account Representative for Burger King, said, “We delivered significant cost avoidance in the wrap category alone, allowing Burger King to avoid a large cost increase and keep their numbers within budget.”
By giving rapid and accurate answers to requests for quick turnaround times and new graphics, Ronpak’s ability to remain nimble saw multiple Burger King promotions come to fruition in record time. The “Moody Wraps” promotion for Mental Health Awareness Month was singled out as particularly important as it showed both Burger King’s and Ronpak’s commitment to an important cause.
By partnering with Ronpak, Burger King was able to realize cost savings and see their performance enhanced by our willingness to work within necessary parameters to accomplish lofty goals.
